The State of Leonida is not a map you drive across. It is a territory. Here is what the official trailers revealed about available activities before the game even releases.
GTA V had golf, underwater races and skydiving. RDR2 had fishing, trophy hunting, duels, poker games by a campfire.
GTA 6 looks denser on this front. The State of Leonida covers a coastal metropolis (Vice City), rural zones, swampland, and warm waters. Rockstar's official trailers have given glimpses of activities across each of these environments. What we know is not exhaustive: Rockstar hasn't published an official list of mini-games. But what we've seen is enough to sketch an open world where you can spend hours without touching the main story.
Our reading of Trailer 2 is that it shows hunting zones in the State of Leonida, including near Mount Kalaga; Rockstar has not announced a hunting activity. The trailers show shots of hunters in rural settings, with scenes that suggest a dense wildlife presence in the environment: alligators, birds, wild animals in the Everglades-inspired swamp areas.
Fishing is confirmed: shots from Trailer 2 show characters at the water's edge, equipped for fishing. The geography of the State, with its coastlines, lakes, and rivers, suggests several zones and types of fishing. The exact fish species available have not been officially communicated.
If hunting in RDR2 set a standard (reactive wildlife, trophies, crafting), fans expect a similar system in GTA 6. Rockstar has not confirmed the hunting mechanics in detail. What the trailers show: an environment where hunting is visibly present, not incidental.
Rockstar has not announced combat sports. The official trailers appear to show MMA scenes, including a visible fighting cage in Trailer 2 (our reading of the footage). The visual style echoes mixed martial arts as it exists in real Florida: gyms, cage fights, crowds.
If Rockstar brings the depth it put into RDR2's combat (fistfighting with a blocking and counter system), an MMA system with training, skill progression and organized fights would stand as its own self-contained activity in the game. That level of detail is not confirmed: only the visual presence of MMA is certain as of today.
What is clear from the trailers: Leonida has a fight culture. Whether in the gym, in the cage, or on the street.
The State of Leonida has coastlines. Trailer 2 makes this clear: beach, sea, clear Florida-style waters. Among the water activities visually confirmed or mentioned in official communications:
These activities draw on Leonida's geography: a fictional Florida, bordered by water on three sides, with warm waters and abundant marine life.
Beyond the rural and maritime world, Vice City and Leonida's other towns offer their own activities. Identified in the trailers:
The size of Leonida implies ways to explore the State that go beyond the car. The trailers confirm several modes of transport that can function as activities in their own right:
Several plausible activities have not yet been confirmed by Rockstar:
This list will be updated as soon as Rockstar publishes new official information.
Leonida doesn't wait.
Diving, jet-skiing, fishing, basketball, kayaking: the activities shown in the trailers and the Extended Look. Digital pre-orders are open on the PlayStation Store and the Xbox Store, 79.99 EUR for the Standard edition.

Our reading of GTA 6's trailers is that they show hunting, including near Mount Kalaga in the State of Leonida; Rockstar has not announced a hunting activity. The detailed mechanics (trophies, prey types, tracking system) have not been communicated by Rockstar. Leonida's environment, inspired by Florida, suggests dense wildlife.
Yes. Scuba diving is visually confirmed in GTA 6's official trailers. Shots show divers in vivid waters with visible marine life. Diving was already an activity in GTA V; it returns in GTA 6 in a richer coastal environment.
Not announced as an activity. Shots from GTA 6's official Trailer 2 appear to show MMA scenes with a fighting cage (our reading of the footage). The precise mechanics (combat system, progression, competitions) have not yet been officially detailed by Rockstar.
